Friends and family joined the couple and the whole town celebrated the occasion in a big way.

Genoveva Romero Encinas, 86, and Francisco Maldonado Valenzuela, 88, were married in January 2023 in San Pedro de la Cueva Parish.

And hundreds of people gathered to celebrate with the couple on their special day as Doña Beba stunned in a white dress and veil covering her face, while Don Francisco donned a suit and black cowboy hat.

The city’s Municipal Plaza was the perfect venue for the celebration, welcoming hundreds of people.

In addition, the wedding ceremony and the love for the couple led travel agencies to offer packages to attend the celebration, which included round-trip transportation and food.

Stalls were set up in the square, selling fried food, fresh drinks, roast meat, hot dogs and other products. /Telegraph/
